Free copy of the 2001 Guizhou Workshop Proceedings
Dear CSWS members,
The 2001 Guizhou Workshop Proceedings, entitled "Researches on Gender, Ethnicity, and Community Development" (in Chinese), was finally published. Zhang Xiao, He Zhonghua, and Ma Linying, three leading minority women scholars in southwestern China, were major organizers of the Guizhou project and editors of the book.
The proceedings include a total of 42 articles, 9 of them written by our CSWS members, 21 written by minority scholars in Yun, Gui, or Chuan areas. Most of the minority authors wrote about their own national/ethnic group. Some of them were the first time to have an article on minority women published. If you are interested in minority women or minority scholars in China, you may be interested to have a copy of the book.
CSWS has about 80 FREE copies to share with any interested members. The Guizhou project also has some funding to pay for postage.
If you like to receive a copy or want your colleague/friend to receive a copy,
please send e-mail to XU Wu at WUXUUTAH@aol.com. Please tell her your mailing address and number of copies you need.
Thank you for your interests and support to CSWS.
